Anna de Bruin

Violinist Anna de Bruin has recently appeared as guest leader of English Sinfonia chamber ensemble. Her passion for contemporary music has seen her invited as guest violinist with the Riot Ensemble and performing solo violin and with LCO quartet for the Musikprotokol Festival of contemporary music held in Graz Austria. Last season she led the Ozero ensemble for an Apple TV live broadcast of contemporary music at the Science Museum for the Museums x Music series. She has also appeared as guest leader of LCO ensemble at Queen Elizabeth Hall for PRS New Music Biennial.
Anna has an MA with Distinction in experimental composition and is currently enjoying writing some music for string ensemble with her co-writer Dan Hewson with whom she has written music featured on 'From the Deep' - Curve Ensemble. She has also written and arranged music for her quartet Brother Tree Sound's second album 'Songs Without Words' released on Bigo & Twigetti.
Anna enjoys freelancing with many orchestras including the English Chamber Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, RPO and London Contemporary Orchestra. She often works in London’s iconic studios and has recently recorded as a violinist on albums for Taylor Swift, Philip Selway (Radiohead), The Pet Shop Boys, Sigur Ros and The Smile and for films such as Chevalier, The Matrix Resurrection, All Quiet on the Western Front and Saltburn. Anna is a member of the London Mozart Players.
David Juritz

David Juritz was born in Cape Town, South Africa. He was awarded an Associated Board Scholarship to the Royal College of Music winning the RCM’s top award, the Tagore Gold Medal. On leaving the RCM, he joined English Chamber Orchestra before being appointed leader of the London Mozart Players, a position he held until 2010. He made many appearances as soloist and director with the LMP, including his debut at the 2006 BBC Promenade Concerts. He has appeared as soloist and/or director with many orchestras including the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and English Chamber Orchestra who invited him to direct their debut in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg in 2019.

His 2017 recording of piano trios by Hans Gal and Dmitri Shostakovich with the Briggs Trio received glowing reviews on both sides of the Atlantic while his many other recordings include Vivaldi Four Seasons, hailed by critics as one of the finest interpretations of that much-recorded work, and Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas for Violin Solo. His transcription of Bach’s Goldberg Variations for violin, guitar and cello has been streamed over two million times since its release in April 2021. His latest recording with the London Tango Quintet is scheduled for release in early 2024.

​During a five-month sabbatical in 2007, David busked around the world. On the 60,000 mile journey through 50 cities in 24 countries on six continents, he paid for the entire journey with his busking earnings by playing Bach on the streets and raised funds for music education projects for disadvantaged children in developing countries.

Lucy Jeal

Lucy Jeal attended the Purcell School of Music, the Royal College of Music, the Guildhall and then finished her studies with Almita Vamos at Oberlin Conservatory of Music USA.
She is currently a member of the English Chamber Orchestra and since 2018 she has been principal 2nd violin in John Eliot Gardiner's Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique. She is a former member of the Royal Northern Sinfonia.
She is in demand as a guest leader, playing regularly with Ensemble Reza, Gustav Holst Ensemble and the Somov piano trio. Lucy regularly freelances with the LSO, Britten Sinfonia and London Mozart Players.She has guest-led the Brodsky Quartet with concerts in Rotterdam, Bologna and across the UK and toured with Alfred Brendel, playing Mozart piano quartets in concerts including Carnegie Hall New York and Musikverein Vienna.
She is a former winner of the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s ‘Young Soloist of the Year’ competition and was also chosen for the Countess of Munster and the National Federation of Music Societies’ artists’ recital schemes.
Laure Chan

British Franco-Chinese violinist Laure Chan has been described as “a mesmerizing stage presence with the rare ability to draw the attention of the audience into her performance” She enjoys a varied performance career as a soloist and ensemble player and has performed in world-class concert halls throughout the UK, Europe, Asia and America In December 2023, Laure made her solo debut at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall.
Laure has gained numerous awards including 1st prize at the 2023 International Golden Classical Music Awards in New York, The Century Fund Prize / Richard III Prize in 2018 for solo baroque violin at the Royal College of Music, 1st prize at the 2015 Paris Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition.
Laure is passionate about exploring new horizons through a variety of musical styles. Developing an interest in composition, Laure aims to combine her classical background with inspirations from multiple genres and cultures. She has released EPs and albums featuring original works and works of the classical repertoire which are available on streaming platforms worldwide. Her upcoming second album Schumann Violin Concerto will be released on 1 March 2024. It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the Sinfonia Perdita conducted by Daniel Hogan.
Ronald Long

American violinist Ronald Long spends most of the year performing with major UK ensembles including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, London Mozart Players, United Strings of Europe, Aurora Orchestra, and Chineke! Orchestra to name a few.
Recently Ronald was featured over 3 episodes in an upcoming documentary with Sky Arts TV showing his preparation as an extra for the London Philharmonic Orchestra. This all focuses on Gustav Mahler’s 2nd Symphony - LPO’s 2023 season opener. Will be airing at the start of 2024.
When Ronald isn’t performing on stage, he works as an onset violin coach for Hollywood actors. Ronald recently worked with actor Kelvin Harrison Junior, starring in the film Chevalier, 2023 biographical film directed by Stephen Williams and written by Stefani Robinson as the Onset violin teacher. Ronald also had the pleasure of being featured on the Chevalier Soundtrack Soul of an Artist recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios and the London Contemporary Orchestra. “Such a soulful player…” - Michael Abels
As a chamber musician and orchestral player, Ronald has performed at music festivals worldwide, from the Ghent Festival, Edinburgh International Festival, Eastern Music Festival, Cambridge Music Festival, Wimbledon Music Festival, and London’s BBC Proms.
Ronald is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music studying with Pinchas Zukerman’s assistant Patinka Kopec and spent a year of Masters at the Paris Conservatoire studying with Boris and Daniel Garlitsky. He hopes to continue his career in chamber music, as well as teaching and inspiring other young musicians.
Chihiro Ono

Born in Chiba/Japan, Chihiro Ono is a London based Japanese violinist and viola player. Chihiro's performance styles span baroque, classical, contemporary, new, experimental music, and folkloric, noise, improvisation, field recording and art of sounds.

She has been performing on stage and for broadcasts on media as a chamber musician at major festival and venues, working with various esteemed ensembles and composers such as Apartment House, Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, CHROMA, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Modern, London Mozart Players, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, G.Aperghis, F.Cerha, P.Eötvös, B.Ferneyhough, H.Lachemann, S.Reich and more.
Since 2018, alongside her stage performances, Chihiro intensified her appearance as a sound artist through commissioned pieces, collaborating and producing for live-performance, radio, film and theatre with various like-minded artists, such as ARCO, Forced Entertainment, Waste Paper Opera.
Her creative work draws on influences from a rich variety of repertoires, encompassing folklore, field recording, improvisation, Western and Eastern musical/theatrical methods, elements, techniques and philosophies, with her own extremely strong visions on sounds.
Guy Button

Guy Button is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama Artist Masters Programme and completed his undergraduate degree in Music at Robinson College, Cambridge.
He performs regularly with many of the leading ensembles in the U.K on both modern and period instruments, including the English Concert, London Chamber Orchestra and London Contemporary Orchestra. During 2024 he will be taking up the role of director of music at ‘The Lost Estate’ for their run of ‘The Great Murder Mystery,’ a Sherlock Holmes inspired immersive theatre experience.
As a recording artist he has worked with an eclectic range of musicians including Taylor Swift, Jonny Greenwood, The National, Dodie, Ollie Murs, Fall Out Boy, Koven, Carly Paradis and Boy George. Recent film and TV soundtracks he has featured on include Chevalier, Saltburn, One Life, Matrix Resurrections, Emancipation, Stranger Things and the final series of Endeavour. He also appears on the soundtrack to the latest Call of Duty game.
He was a founding member of 12 Ensemble and his arrangement of Fljotavik by Sigur Ros, which features on their album Death and the Maiden has received more than a million streams worldwide.
Edward McCullaugh

Edward McCullagh enjoys a busy career as a freelance violinist, combining orchestral and chamber music playing. He has enjoyed a number of trials with UK orchestras, and performs regularly with the London Mozart Players, English Chamber Orchestra and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. He has recently enjoyed chamber music engagements with the Holywell String Quartet and Curve Ensemble. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Lydia Mordkovitch, and at the Brussels Conservatoire.

Edward's work as a freelance session player has seen him playing on numerous soundtracks and TV series as well as for commercial artists with the London Contemporary Orchestra.
Reiad Chibah

Viola player Reiad Chibah has had an eclectic career. Born in London of Irish and Algerian parents he attended the Purcell School of Music and Royal College of Music then continued his studies with Maya Glizarova at the Rubin Academy in Jerusalem. He has had concerto and chamber music performances broadcast on BBC Radio Three and performed solo at the Wigmore Hall. He has been guest principal viola with the Liverpool Philharmonc and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestras and has worked regularly with the Academy of St Martin-in-the Fields and Royal Northern Sinfonia orchestras. A keen proponent of contemporary classical music Reiad has worked with the groups Apartment House, Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, Jane's Minstrels and Lontano.
Reiad currently spends the majority of his time as a session player recording for artists such as Sam Smith, Coldplay and Taylor Swift as well as playing on scores for films, including Barbie, No Time to Die, The Banshees of Inishiren, 1917 and Mission Impossible. As a string arranger Reiad has worked on songs for pop artists including Rita Ora and Billy Porter. Reiad also co-curates the "Beer and Beethoven" concert series in a brewery in North London.
Peter Mallinson

Peter Mallinson enjoys both modern and period viola performance. As well as being a member of the BBC Symphony Orchestra he has played with the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the Hanover Band, and Arcangelo. As a soloist Peter has given many first performances, including the UK premiere of Sally Beamish’s That Recent Earth, and the world premieres of Robin Holloway’s Suite en Saga, Edwin Roxburgh’s Sonata for Three, and Detlev Glanert’s The Pleiades. His interest in music for two violas has led to three CDs for Meridian Records with his duo partner, Matthias Wiesner. Before studying at the Royal Academy of Music with Martin Outram and Jane Rogers, Peter read music at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge
Julia Graham
cello
Julia studied as a music scholar & prize winner at the Purcell School, Royal Academy of Music, furthering her studies at the Royal College of Music, studying with Dame Florence Hooton, David Strange and Steven Doane, respectively. She then became a member of English National Opera and later was appointed to no 3 cello with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
Since then, Julia’s freelance work has included being the principal cellist for Matthew Bourne, The London Concert Orchestra, English Sinfonia and guest principal for many other groups. She has been lead cellist for several West End productions including The Wizard of Oz, Evita, Miss Saigon and currently Phantom of the Opera.
Chamber music is where Julia’s heart lies and as a member of Brother Tree Sound string quartet, has enjoyed working on acclaimed recording projects as well as many live performances.
She has also appeared with other chamber ensembles in many venues including The Wigmore Hall & The Purcell Room, and with artists including trumpeter Alison Balsom, violinist Vasko Vassilev and pianist Alexei Volodin.
Tony Woollard
cello/composer
Tony studied the cello with David Smith and Raphael Wallfisch at the Guildhall school of Music in London. He later won a Swiss government scholarship and spent four years studying with Robert Cohen in Lugano Switzerland.
As a chamber musician Tony has played with the Fitzwilliam String quartet, The Alba quartet and with Robert Cohen at Charleston Manor Festival. For many years he was a member of the Alba String Quartet, appearing in many prestigious venues and festivals including Cheltenham, Chichester, City of London and Dublin. The quartet were selected for Fresh at the South Bank Center and were Park Lane Group artists.
As a soloist, Tony gave premier performances of Robert Saxton’s Solo Sonata in both Switzerland and New Zealand with both performances broadcast on live radio. His debut solo cello album Cello Journey features a lost work by Sir William Walton.

Tony teaches cello and chamber music in the Junior department at the Royal Academy of Music. His cello Interludes have streamed over 4 million times on Apple Music and Spotify and his arrangement of the Mozart Requiem for 20 cellos was record of the week on Classic FM.
Dave Brown

Dave studied at the Royal College of Music from 1999-2005.
He has worked with the LSO, RPO, BBC Concert, BBC NOW, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Bournemouth and RTÉ Symphony orchestras.
Dave also deps in the West End and has played on shows such as Mary Poppins, Les Misérable, Phantom of the Opera, Frozen, Cabaret, The King & I, An American in Paris, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Showboat, Gypsy, Top Hat, Sunset Bouldevard, Scottsboro Boys, Old Friends and Annie.
He currently holds Principal chairs with the London Contemporary Orchestra and the Bath Philharmonia, the former of which he regularly records film scores, albums and library music.
Dave is also one fifth of Yllwshrk, and experimental collaborative band which recently released I Am Aladdin, the first track of which, Smudge, is being used in the film Little Wing, and as a result of that, and the music he has been fortunate enough to have been around, as well as becoming accustomed to creative and recording processes, he is inspired to start writing his own music as well.
Jim Perkins

Composer, producer and founder of record label bigo & twigetti, Jim Perkins combines music written for instrumental performance with detailed editing and post production techniques. He writes intricate work creating elaborate textures and exploiting ambisonic and psychoacoustic phenomena to create a sense of depth and detail in his work.



As a composer his work has been performed at The Institute of Contemporary Arts (London), The Turner Contemporary, The National Portrait Gallery and London’s South Bank Centre. His music has been streamed over 20 million times across Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer and been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, Radio 6, NPR, WNYC and RTE. He has released 4 full length albums ‘Grains (2011), 'Constance' (2015), 'Pools' (2019) and Imprints (2023).
Rael Jones

Rael Jones is an Emmy and Ivor Novello nominated composer and multi-instrumentalist.
Most known for his Film & TV work, he has written for a diverse range of projects including Mrs Harris Goes to Paris, My Cousin Rachel, Suite Française, The Salisbury Poisonings and Harlots, as well as crafting the music for the Oasis and Coldplay feature documentaries. Earlier in his career, Rael filled many other music department roles (producer, editor, programmer, additional composer, orchestrator and musician) on projects such as Les Misérables, Quantum of Solace, The Inbetweeners Movies, The Alan Partridge Movie and The BBC Series Sherlock.
His writing centres around live instrumental playing across all genres.
Leah Kardos

Leah Kardos is an Australian-born, London-based composer and producer. She makes eclectic, mostly instrumental music that often explores a specific limitation, whether it be a single piano in Feather Hammer (2011), spam emails as lyrics in Machines (2013), the relationships between score and interpretation, composer and performer in Three Preludes (2013), or working with purely analogue instruments and technologies in Rococochet (2017). Bird Rib (2020), explores the reuse and reversal of previous compositions in the construction of new material.
Her work has been broadcast on BBC R3 and 6 Music (UK), Triple J and Double J (Australia) and NPR (US), and performed by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Ruthless Jabiru, R. Andrew Lee, Ben Dawson, Laura Wolk-Lewanowicz, Lara James & her trio Triquetra - many of these players also feature/collaborate on her recordings. Her library music has been synced in many prime time TV shows (Masterchef, First Dates, Love Island, Panorama, and many more, all over the world). Her string and orchestral arrangements have used in films, library music and Netflix documentaries.

Daniel Hewson

Daniel Hewson is an award-winning composer, arranger, pianist and trombonist. He has worked with such diverse artists as Stomp, Groove Armada, Madonna, Incognito, the Oxford Chamber Orchestra and the Allegri String Quartet.

He has worked with artists including Nigel Kennedy, Omar, Herb Geller, Art Themen, Bobby Wellins, Rui Veloso. As a keyboard and trombone player he has performed at the BBC Proms, the Sydney Opera House, the Royal Festival Hall, Rock in Rio, and has conducted his arrangements at Abbey Road. His music has been featured on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM.

Daniel is a pianist at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, accompanying ballet and contemporary dance classes, and has worked in the past at the London School of Contemporary Dance, Central School of Ballet, Ballet Rambert, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, Pineapple and many others.
He has a large catalogue of compositions released for diverse labels, including Bigo and Twigetti, Music Chamber, Out/Standard and Universal Production Music. He has also co-written the music for a forthcoming sci-fi film - “Misbah and the Shamalan Quest” - that is currently in production.
Angus McRae

Award winning composer, producer and musician Angus MacRae’s extensive musical output encompasses solo albums, concert performances, and award-winning scores for theatre, film, ballet, television and contemporary dance.
Drawing on themes of memory and imagination, his immersive solo work transcends its classical roots to create transportive, elegiac compositions of unflinching emotional honesty.
Spanning three albums and a number of EPs, his work has reached a global audience and been performed across Europe at venues including London’s Barbican, Union Chapel and the Nobel Prize Museum, Stockholm.
Known for his collaborations with live musicians, his work for theatre includes scores for multiple Olivier Award winning shows, including a number of collaborations with director Rebecca Frecknall. These include Summer & Smoke (Almeida Theatre & West End), scored for 9 onstage upright pianos, A Streetcar Named Desire (Almeida Theatre & West End), written for live onstage percussion, and live music for four roaming musicians in the Prologue to Cabaret (Playhouse Theatre, West End), which combines live music and dance across multiple immersive spaces, totalling over 180 minutes of original and improvised music. The show recently entered its 3rd year on the London stage and will premiere on Broadway in the Spring of 2024.
His work for ballet includes original music for Marc Brew’s Existence, written for live orchestra and premiered at Germany’s Hessisches Staatstheater, alongside collaborations with Alice Klock, Tamsin Fitzgerald and Wayne Parsons at venues including Sadler’s Wells and The Place, London.
Film and TV scores include Nisan Dag’s feature Bir Nefes Daha, winner of the SIYAD (Turkish Critics) Award for Best Music, a clutch of feature length documentaries and numerous short films.
